Dates:
October 17-22 2024
Duration:
6 days/5 nights
Riding Level:
Intermediate/Advanced
Experience the rugged beauty of Bryce Canyon National Park and southern Utah like never before by bringing your own horses on an unforgettable horseback riding adventure. Traverse the mesmerizing hoodoos and red rock landscapes, immersing yourself in the unique geological wonders that define the region. With your equine companions, explore scenic trails that wind through breathtaking canyons and expansive vistas, creating memories that blend the thrill of riding with the natural splendor of this iconic destination that defines the heart of the American Southwest.
Horses
Bring your own horse - Stalls at each camp site allow you to camp out right next to your horse! Please read the Guest Horse Guidelines if you plan to bring your horse. Owners are responsible for their own feed, cleaning, and care.
Riders of any discipline are welcome, but must be saddled (no bareback riding with the group). Riders must bring all their own tack and equipment.
Riding
Intermediate-Advanced. Since riders are bringing their own horses, a minimum of intermediate level riding is required. Accompanying non-riders are welcome to join for camping and meals.
Terrain
The terrain in southern Utah is rocky, often steep or narrow. Horses and riders should be prepared for challenging terrain. Horseshoes/boots are always recommended for more difficult trails.
Accommodation
Camp in a tent or trailer/camper. All sites offer hookups, as well as access to campground bathrooms and showers.
Campers are also available to rent, and will be set up and ready for you when you arrive.
Dining
Hearty breakfasts and dinners around the campfire will be provided. Guests must provide their own lunches, snacks, and alcoholic beverages. Dietary restrictions, allergies, vegetarians, vegans, and gluten-free can all be accommodated with advanced notice.
